about us
thefoundation is a loose cooperation of four Germany based individuals:
Daniel Becker, David Murmann, Matthias Schulz and Michael Kurze, proficient in different areas of expertise.
Michael is a student of computer sciences at the RWTH University of Aachen, and currently interns at the Mozilla metrics team.

Daniel studies at the Köln International School of Design since 2006. With experience in video editing and compositing he now concentrates on design and development of web content using Adobe Flash TM and presentational technologies of the open web, including but not limited to X(HT)ML, CSS and SVG.

the making of
This web site is a joint effort based on a concept by Matthias Schulz.
The design was developed by Daniel Becker and complemented by Michael Kurze.
The implemenation was done by Michael Kurze with contributions by Daniel Becker and David Murmann.
thefoundation.de is written in the Python programming language.
It is implemented using the Django web application framework
and the Photologue gallery management component.
